“I wish to go to Disneyland Paris“
Hatice's dearest wish was to go to Disneyland Paris. The trip started with an unexpected stretch limo turning up to take the family to the train station in Basel. Well stocked with games and a packed lunch provided by our volunteer, the family set off to Paris with great trepidation and lots of squeals of laughter.
 | | Upon their arrival at the hotel, Hatice was given a big Mickey Mouse
plush toy along with many other presents. The family enjoyed three days
of pure magic and joy, delighting in all the stunning attractions. The
various rides and shows amazed Hatice and her siblings. |
One evening they attended a Wild Wild West show and enjoyed a real Texan barbecue. The next morning they were invited to a special breakfast with the Disney characters where Hatice had a chance to meet Alice in Wonderland, Mickey, Minnie and Esmeralda, all at once!
The time seemed to fly and all too soon it was time to say goodbye to the Magic Kingdom. Hatice wrote a lovely report on her trip, highlighting the special moments which meant a great deal to her.
